C.A.R.P.—A New Vision of Aging is Canada’s largest advocacy association for older Canadians promoting equitable access to health care, financial security, and freedom from ageism. Backed by more than 320,000 members, C.A.R.P. is a non-partisan association committed to working with all parties in government to advocate for older Canadians. Our mission is to advocate for better healthcare, financial security, and freedom from ageism. C.A.R.P. members engage in polls and petitions, email their elected representatives, connect with local chapters and share stories and opinions on urgent issues.






Our mission is to build healthy individuals, families and communities and we know that recreation and culture are vital to the overall health, wellness and creativity of our community. That's why we provide and facilitate quality municipal recreation and culture programs, services and events that enhance the quality of life for all North Vancouver residents.






Capilano Community Services Society is a registered non-profit serving communities in the three North Shore municipalities: the District and City of North Vancouver, and the District of West Vancouver.  We began in 1970 as a grassroots response to the needs of the Lower and Upper Capilano Area for support to both youth and seniors in the community. Today, we continue to serve a large number of North Shore residents through targeted outreach Youth Programs, Seniors’ Hub Programs and the Red Cross Health Equipment Loan Program.

WVLBC consists of two outdoor natural grass greens. We have enough space for seven rinks of indoor or ‘Short Mat’ bowling inside the club for the winter months. There are three rinks upstairs and four downstairs. The main floor has a kitchen, men’s and women’s washrooms, locker room, large meeting area with a bar and a small office.

      

HandyDART is TransLink's paratransit system, available for those who are unable to safely naviagate conventional public trnasit without assistance.
